Failure to Load & C++ Errors

Hi everyone,

Been trying for weeks to play Civ 6 and thought there was a C++ redist problem since it wasn't launching. I uninstalled all the C++ programs on my computer and redownloaded the most up to date ones. It's a windows 7 service pack 1 fully updated.

While trying to install the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015 Redistributable (x64) & (x86) - 14.0.23026 I get an error message that says, "One or more issues caused the setup to fail. Please fix the issues and then retry setup. For more information see log file. 0xc80003f3 - Unspecified error."

What do I do?

Did you try the ones located in:

\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\_CommonRedist\vcredist\2015\

?

Yes and those didn't work, I got the same error which is why i went to microsoft.

Run a full windows update

It sounds like your OS Is not fully patched
