Wont even launch on Arch Linux

It says "running" in steam for a second and stops. I get nothing on the display. System is up to date as od thurs feb 28th. Using extra/nvidia 418.43-3 [installed]. on a new nvidia RTX 2060. I too in my search found it could be mods, I cant go into the game to disable them so i unsubscribed all from the steam civ6 page, and also believe I deleted the content manually. Any ideas, thanks.

Either run with steam-native, launch option LD_PRELOAD=/usr/lib/libfreetype.so.6 %command%, or env LD_PRELOAD='./libcxxrt.so:/usr/$LIB/libstdc++.so.6'. The latter will disable the Steam overlay.

Yeah the wiki is messed up as usual. wiki.archlinux.org uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate will not be valid until February 28, 2019, 7:07:43 PM GMT-5. The current time is February 28, 2019, 6:55 PM. Error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_NOT_YET_VALID_CERTIFICATE

Usually i can click advabced and go anyway but its not letting me.

That aside, I did do some reading elsewhere previously, I should have mentioned that, and I am already using steam native, but its doing the same thing. Thanks
