i hope someone can come up with a solution to this or for me at least the game isn't playable
this is frustrating.... they say "Scalable resource and yeld icons through xml" and yet 0 info on how to do it properly and they made the game unplayable with their default settings....
it's sad to see a company not even caring if their changes ruined the game for some people or not....
What's even worse, to me, is that it seemingly constantly tries to scale the city labels and unit icons as well, even though they don't even change in size(?). Which results in them looking awfully blurry as well. And not just blurry, but inconsistently blurry. Their level of sharpness constantly shifting depending on their location on the screen.
Whereas before the launch of Gathering Storm all the 2d elements on the map used to look consistently sharp and crisp, now they looks so blurry in comparison and I cannot get used to it.
I am holding off playing the new expansion (and Civ 6 as a whole, since this change was also applied to the base game..) until this is fixed.
