purchase tiles is not working

purchase tiles is not working idk why I'm in the tutorial I can purchase tiles though the building stuff option for cities but clicking purchase tile button doesn't do anything

Are you using mods?

Usually this is a mistake of trying to buy without money or during ai turn, ie you open city during your turn with auto turn on, it then flips to ai's turn and purchase screen goes blank.

Double check by disabling auto turn, then select city, select tiles. Left most icon.

no mods is this disabled during the tutorial?
the wierd thing is that I can open the build menu pick a building to build and in the where to place said building and when the tiles appear I can choose to buy certain tiles.

again... pls post a screenshot. its very likely youre doing sth wrong, but we cant tell what until we see what youre doing. are the tiles greyed out? you really have to provide more information.

(this isn't quite the position I had tutorial doesn't save but basically near the end I tried to purchase tiles by clicking the purchase tiles button and was unable to.)

I mean clicking on purchase tiles does nothing however I am able to purchase land by first selecting a building to build and then it gives me options for land

Can your buy tiles not in the tutorial? Not sure about the tutorial buddy, never played :)

as you can clearly see all buttons, except the one on the very left are greyed out. this indicates, that you cant use them. furthermore you dont have enough money to purchase a tile on turn 1.

@keziien I don't have a screenshot of the actual thing (tutorial did not save), but later when I did have enough money I could but tiles by first selecting a building and then when it asks for placement the tiles have gold over them and I can buy them, but not by clicking purchase tiles

I didn't play it but the tutorial seems to try to get you into doing specific actions and won't let you play freely into it's done showing the mechanics, which creates this kind of situation where you can't do some stuff. I recommend just skipping the tutorial and playing a normal match.
