If it works, the devs might find it useful to have both the old, broken version and the working version to try to figure out why this happens.
Note rise and fall is not available on Mac Or linux yet
Otherwise do the rename of then mods.sqlite file as noted above
When I check the file path in Steam there is no mod folder there either.
Thanks for the help, but sadly this solution does not seem to work.
The one interesting thing is that in the steam folder, I can see the expansion file there in the directory. Just that the game does not seem to notice. Should there be a new intro cinematic as well like with other expansions to past civs?
Also I do not seem to be able to add new mods either, I click on steak workshop and the button is blacked out, when I do it manually through the steam client, they can't be found in game.
Had the same problem. This worked perfectly for me. Thanks a lot!
I have it listed in the Additional Content panel on both the steam settings menu and the game menu.
It doesn't say it's downloaded or installed. But it is clicked to be installed.
Any suggestions?
