Can't Find Save File.
Hi, I was trying to use a way I found on reddit to find my saved game seed. However, I can't find the file that contains my saves. I saved the entirety of steam onto a hardrive and easily found the Civ 6 file, but it just doesn't have the save files with all of my saves.

My PC/This PC>Documents>My Games>Civ VI>Saves

A short google search goes a long way...

The thing is I did google it and the Saves file isn't in Civ VI (in my case Civilization VI) and it isn't there. Hence why I came here.

You're on Windows right? Are you looking for regular game saves and autosaves, or are you looking for Steam Cloud saves? If you're on Windows and can't find any game saves in Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization 6/Saves/ then Civ VI is not actually saving any of your games and you need to check permissions and exceptions for your securtiy software.

I am on Windows. There is no file for the saves is what I've found though. I have it saved it somewhere specific so it's My Passport/Games/steamapps/common/Sid Meier's Civilization VI, and once I'm there, the only folders are _CommonRedist, Base, CTP, Debug, and DLC. No saves folder like other searches said there would be on google.

Game saves are not saved in your game installation folder. They are saved in your local Documents folder. Go to <Main Drive> Users/<Your user name>/Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Saves/

I came here for the same problem and it wasn't there either. Turns out as I have OneDrive enabled, Win 10 had moved my documents folder. So games were at

C:\users\<username>\OneDrive\Documents\My Games

On my Steam install of Civ 6 (Manjaro Linux, using Proton) the Save path is `/home/<USERNAME>/.local/share/Steam/steamapps/compatdata/289070/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/My Games/Sid Meier's Civilization VI/Saves/`

Took me a while to find this. When I copied in my Windows saves (as I'm moving them to Linux) they then showed up for me to Load.

Hope this helps somebody else.
