Does Civ:VI work on Windows 10?

I literally just bought it today and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ isnt working,

I'm having the same issue, does yours boot up and then crash on the "Loading, Please Wait" screen?

It dosent even load that. Its a shame, because i hope i havent wasted £40

I played almost 15 hours before it started crashing on me constantly, meaning I can't even refund the game...

But there are people able to run CivVI without a problem on Windows 10, me included. I haven't encountered a singlecrash or bug that not everyone had yet. And people on other Windows versions have encountered crashes, so this might not be too related to Windows 10.

I doubt its my PC, its basiclly brand new, also Alienware Alpha, i cant even get a refund for it :/

What's your pc specs? http://www.systemrequirementslab.com go to that website and find civ6 to test if your pc has the required specs

It says i can run the minimal requirements for it, but it may be my CPU

I've played 229 hours on Win 10 so it must be your system or old video drivers.

Try hitting the "play civVI" button and not the one that uses Direct x12. I had trouble at first trying direct x12 but no problems at all with the other option.

I tried that, first option I picked

I've played over 100 hours but now it crashes since the update.

Make sure all drivers are updated by going through the manufactuer's site, e.g., go to Nvidia to download your graphics driver. I have yet to see an OEM or motherboard manufacturer post the most up to date drivers for hardware. Verify your game cache and make sure all windows updates are downloaded as well. I have 150 hours into this game already and never had a problem running it.
