LMAO Firaxis is advertising being able to play as Napoleon and has a big LEARN MORE rectangle that isn't clickable jesus lord this game is a disaster

It's always been that way. It shows a lot of things from time to time. Monthly challenges, DLCs when they were being launched, and now they're promoting their new game. I don't see what the problem is with that... It's not intrusive or affect gameplay. As far as disaster goes, Civ 7 is a disaster at the moment. The vast majority of people would also disagree with you about Civ 6 being a disaster, but that's purely subjective.

Block the game in your firewall if you don't play online multiplayer, no more advertising and stuff.
