Yep, Mr. Fanboy, just buy this trash and waste your money. Its your money. From what I saw in the recent reviews, for THAT price tag? Civ 7 landed instantly on my ignore list. I will not even buy it on a mega sale.
Its time that we customers vote with our money. It is unacceptable these days, that AAA title for 130 bucks come out in such a stage. This is a scam. Just stop buying unfinished games. Maybe some time they learn, or go bankrupt. I don't care.
And I played Civ 1 + 2 as a kid ;-)
Somehow, given the landscape over the last few years, I am not surprised that the latest release has problems...
Always before you set out to see if *A* civilization could stand the test of time, This was a key concept that was fundamental to the franchise.
Now we have the silly idea that at a third of the way through the game and again two thirds of the way through the game the civilization completely changes. This may or may not make for a good strategy game but it is certainly not in the tradition of the original SM Civilization.
It may be a good strategy game but it is a SM Civilization game in name only.
I am going to try Civ 7 once a few updates and DLC have been released (because of my experience with Civ 6) but I think there is a good chance I will go back to Civ 6 (just as I did after trying Humankind)
How come? What or who did I pretend to be?
