Do you think this game will be OK at release?

I will compare it to previous CIV games.
When CIV 5 and CIV 6 were about to be released, I was super hyped, the trailers looked amazing, PR did their job, and the game was somewhat fun despite the fact they cut it in half and released the rest with Season Pass.

With this game, Civ 7, I dont feel anything special, no hype at all.
It just replaced new skin with new graphics and I did not even hear about any new feature, like districts, new music system with each age, and other cool features that were introduced in previous Civ games.

Help me understand what I am missing here.
I did not open this topic to talk dirty about this game, I just want to understand if its worth a buy this time.

I have purchased all the titles in the Civilization franchise.

Waited for the arrival of multiplayer which arrived in like Civ II.

Civ V and VI had launch issues that you just do not remember. but finished games emerged for both.

Almost none of us have seen Civ VII at this point.

I have some confidence that the people who gave us Civ V and VI will work this out. I do not know for sure what it will look like on release.

You are asking an impossible question when quite simply we do not know,

The Civ Franchise has not let gamers down before even when surmounting the inevitable birthing pains of release.

The hate on the current forums has no place in the inevitable evolutionary process of finishing a game.

Ok, must be just you, because many people loosing their head about the new features in the game, on different forums for month now.
