I have purchased all the titles in the Civilization franchise.
Waited for the arrival of multiplayer which arrived in like Civ II.
Civ V and VI had launch issues that you just do not remember. but finished games emerged for both.
Almost none of us have seen Civ VII at this point.
I have some confidence that the people who gave us Civ V and VI will work this out. I do not know for sure what it will look like on release.
You are asking an impossible question when quite simply we do not know,
The Civ Franchise has not let gamers down before even when surmounting the inevitable birthing pains of release.
The hate on the current forums has no place in the inevitable evolutionary process of finishing a game.
