Civ VI Won't Run on Windows 11 Pro

I've been playing Civ VI for years. First on Windows 7 Pro and then Windows 10 Pro. I just got a newly built machine running Windows 11 Pro, with much better specs than my last machine, and this game will not run. I've tried a lot of different "fixes" to get it to run. But any time I fire it up, I'm lucky if it even gets to the opening animated logo before it crashes with an "EXCEPTION_ACCESS_VIOLATION" error. Civ V and Civ Beyond Earth both run fine. But not this game. Very disappointing. Anyone who has experienced this error ever get this game to work on Win 11?

SOLUTION:
Don't launch Civ VI from within Steam. Instead, browse to this directory on the drive you have Steam and Civ VI installed: [DRIVE LETTER]:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Binaries\Win64Steam\. Run CivilizationVI.exe from this directory. It will open Steam but the game itself will launch after a delay.

I have been running Windows 11 Pro since it was in public preview. And Civ 6 has run all that time including now. I play it nearly every single day.
It has no specific relation to Windows 11 at least.

Win 11 pro here as well. On two machines. Neither has an issue.

Both of these are upgrades from Win10 Pro and one of those is an upgrade from Win8.1 Pro. Haven't had any issues all along.

Try verifying the game files, delete steam cache and restart.

POTENTIAL SOLUTION
I just discovered a solution that I had yet seen mentioned before and it seems to have worked for me. Don't launch Civ VI from within Steam. Instead, browse to this directory on the drive you have Steam and Civ VI installed: [DRIVE LETTER]:\Steam\SteamApps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Binaries\Win64Steam. Run CivilizationVI.exe from this directory. It will open Steam but the game itself will launch after a delay. So far, so good.
