Seige tower not working for naval melee?
Seige towers are supposed to work for naval units too, right (assuming they're still melee ofc)? Doesn't seem to be working for me anymore. It's still working for land melee. Did they change it or something? The tool tip still just says melee, doesn't specify, so I assume not.. What am I missing?

Siege towers are for attacking walls. The only sea born ones I recall were used against Syracuse during one of the Punic Wars, There may have been some used also by Alexander t. G. against some Island city in the eastern Mediterranean. By my memory of that particular battle is sketchy at best. They like the ones used on land were purpose built on the spot. If I recall it required to ships to make one siege tower with the ships of the time other wise they'd be too top heavy and capsize.

Well not exactly. Naval rams like the Greek triremes of the Persian and Pelopennesian War had as their keels a large timber that was some what longer than the ship itself. It had only the name in common with the land bound version The naval siege tower was built atop two hulls and held them together. They were. like the land bound ones, assembled on sight and moved a fairly short distance to point of contact where they were driven on to land to prevent the possibility of them cap sizing once the men began climbing the tower to get on to the city walls,
