I have had the AI trade me great works and relics but the icon is always different to what its supposed to look like.
The fixes that have worked for me (temporarily) is to "verify integrity of game files" and then reboot PC for the crash. And simply rebooting PC has fixed the icon glitch.
Give these a try and see how they work for you.
I have not encountered this problem. If you are playing with any mods then I would consider the possibility that one of them may be responsible.
First I would recommend checking any mods you use to ensure that they are designed to work with the version of the game you are playing and the DLCs you are using. If not, then remove them. If they are, then check them to see if they might be bugged or conflicting with each other (by removing them and seeing whether the problem persists when you play without mods). If you aren't using any mods or none of them are responsible then you may be able to correct the problem by unsubscribing from any Civ VI workshop content and verifying your game files. If that does not fix the problem then perform a clean reinstall: double-check to ensure that you are unsubscribed from all Civ VI workshop content, uninstall the game, exit Steam, delete any remaining Civ VI files or folders from your computer, reboot your computer, and then reinstall the game through Steam.
