Since Civ 7 is coming out I would keep Civ 6 on sale.

They can't, steam has very strict rules on sales. A game just can't be on sales all the time (14 consecutive days max) :

Civilization 6 is basicaly on sales almost half the time. Just wait for the next occasion.

Thanks guys and/or gals. I will wait for the DLC to be on sale. The base game is fairly good. Got it for $5.99 plus tax.
