Report a translation problem
If Gathering Storm (the DLC/expansion/mod) is active, there should be a dropdown option in "Create Game" which allows you to choose the ruleset - play under "Standard Rules", "Rise and Fall", or "Gathering Storm". Some civs/leaders will not be available in the "Standard Rules"; this includes all of the civs and leaders that were directly part of the expansions.
So in other words, you don't need to deactivate GS to play without its changes.
If that were the case, what would you suggest to rectify the current situation?
