Total Movement speed: 6(!).
SS is not about balance but about having fun and changing the game drastically, just like apocalypse mode.
Ever tried leylines lategame?! this thing is the most OP stuff.
Just push great persons and since lategame leylines are just everywhere (sometimes even 2 in 1 city) each of your cities has a total yield of science/culture/production solely like entire nations.
i had 700 science in 1200 AD with only 5 cities, researched everything and pushed each round a unit in every city, no matter how much production it costs.... and i didnt even play brazil who gets even quicker to that point.
Greece or Bulgaria with owls of minerva is the same stuff.... ridiculous OP since they generate so much science/gold/cultur and envoys, no one can even compete.
Or Khmer/India/Indonesia/Ethiopia with voidsingers is just insane.... (even rome does well with it because of his free monuments)
if he has that much then you obviously did something wrong.
He has only the basestrength of the strongest unit the player build + 1 damage per unit killed on a tile next to it (and only max +10 from barbs total).
Downside from vampires is he cant generate so easy a huge amount of science like all the other SS.... so your units usually are stronger than his vampire... and if you don't exploit that advantage early enough, it's your own fault.
To get to 250 melee strength there must have died a ton of units next to it.
Agreed. Barbarian bonus caps at +10 so you'd have to have allowed them a ton of AI farming to get that much.
Even being generous with numbers like a GDR base, and a bunch of bonuses from great general and your civ, that gets you to about 150 ish. So that would mean allowing them to farm 100 kills at some point, which is ridiculously negligent.
