Civ VI doesn't start in MacOS 15.0

I've recently upgraded tot MacOS 15.0 beta, and I now get the error message "An error occurred while launching this game: Game configuration unavailable". Did anyone als also have this, and maybe found a solution? To others: be careful when upgrading to the new OS..

There have been several concerning this something about having to do with Aspyre never updating there certificate so you have to go into your security and manually over ride to get it to install. Hopefully there will be other folks show up later can give you a more detailed answer. But that should at least point you in the general direction,

Same problem here since the latest Beta. I'm guessing it's probably something to do with the gatekeeper changes in Security/Privacy.

That's it you can overide in security, Process can be found at the mac sticky and two other threads current on this subject.

I'm having the "game configuration unavailable" error too. It doesn't appear to be gatekeeper related, as Civ isn't getting blocked in Security settings, and prewarming the Civ directory with gktool did not help.

Yeah, doesn't pop up.

I enabled full disk access to steam and allowed it to control other applications and this solved some issues with updating games. No Mans Sky for example doesn't have an error like Civ but just doesn't open.

I'm having the same issue ('game configuration unavailable') under MacOS 15.0 beta. The issue doesn't seem to be specific to CIV VI, as some of the other games that I have also won't launch (Sim City 4, No Mans Sky, Borderlands 2). Some games still launch though (Disco Elysium, Bioshock remastered)
