What is a Dagoba?
A "Build Dagoba here" message for improving a tile with a worker keeps popping up, i looked up the wiki of improvements and it is not there, there's barely any info online for it whatsoever...

Anywho if is it an enemies religious building? Just so i font build it and spread their faith accidentally as it gives faith and culture lol.

Thanks.

Never heared of this, must be from one of the civs I haven't played yet.

Never seen such thing in Civ games.
And I can't find any entries for the word "dagoba" in any civ related article, thread, forum or workshop... are you sure it's really "dagoba"?

Alternate name for a Buddhist Stupa what civ are you playing? May be connected to a city state of which you are a suzerain. Many city states grant you the ability build a build if you are their suzerain some give you faith some give gold some also add housing, The function much like the Persian Paradaeza or Gilgameshes special building,

you sure it didn't say "Pagoda" OP?

It's probably a City State's special improvement you got by being Suzerain.

Or mod-related.

Did you check the game's Civilopedia for it? Many mods include Civilopedia entries for their additions.

A Pagoda is built in a Holy Site, not by a worker.

An improvement giving Faith means it gives Faith points to spend when worked. It does not mean it spreads any given religion.

Aye, but it's the only thing that makes sense... Dagoba? It's not something i've seen mentioned in-game, and it looks like few others have either....

It is almost certain a special building linked to a city state probably one connected to the area of the world in which Buddhism is common but which uses the term Dagoba instead of Stupa. Finding out exactly which one has been quite difficult thus far. Apprently no one at the wiki ever bother to make a list linking those items. Might be something at civfanatics. But I haven't checked there yet. Couldn't find a city state list at Civ fan either,

Isn't that where Yoda tells Luke, Darth Vader is his father?
plaguepenguin Jul 12, 2024 @ 8:42am
Dagobah is the remote and desolate swamp planet where Luke gets his Jedi training from Yoda in the second Star Wars movie. I saw it for the first time in a theater in southern Louisiana, so of course someone in the crowd yelled "That's Breaux Bridge!" as soon as the first shot on Dagobah came onto the screen.
