Thank you for the response. Do you own the DLC for both? A friend of mine is really into Age of Empires, which is why I was thinking of getting the Anniversary Collection because it has all of AoE 2's DLC on sale. I'm not sure if I just buy the game if it will subtract it out of the bundle if I decide I like it, and I'm itching for some new games without much to look forward to releasing.
For me though if I was playing against someone, I'm not sure if I would need the anniversary edition, as how much AOE do I really need! That's purely personal but food for thought :-)
If your friend is into RTS and AOE, worth picking up Command and Conquer or some of the stronghold games. All really cheap as alternative options. My attention span requires a change so not so interested in the dlc :-)
out if interest, why? I'm currently look at Platinum which is probably enough for me, but what is it that appeals to you for the anthology?
ok, thank you for your opinion
I think you will not regret your decision!
