Cloud Save not available?

[Doing Stuff]

When I want to save a game to the cloud it says "Cloud save services are unavailable".

Does anyone know how I am able to fix this?

Typically it just means that the 2K servers are down. Just have to wait for them to get running again. Usually they aren't down for any extreme lengths of time.

edit: They are working fine for me currently...

So either that isn't your issue, or just the path between you and them is different than mine and that may be the issue.

You are signed into 2k on the main game screen correct?

Yup I´m signed in. I´ve been having this issue for 2 days now.

Same here. I can single player multiplatform cloud save, but it is grayed out when I try to save cloud for multiplayer (even if I'm the only human in the game).

Is it possible to do a single player cloud save on my tower, that I can continue on my laptop when away?

If anyone else is still having this problem, I discovered that turning off my VPN makes the cloud save feature work again.

I highly suggest dumping the VPN. The VPN tells your system that you are in a different country.

The problem is, you are already getting your identity stole in your own country, but when you enable the VPN to show you in another country, you now have two countries spying on you and both trying to steal your identity.

I recommend uninstalling VPN. I have not found them to be useful, as they can do more harm than good, especially if you don't know how to specifically set them up (IT specialist).

Cloud saving doesn't work for me either and I am not using a VPN or anything like that.

I've learned by now that Civ VI cloud saving does not use the steam cloud but my2k. So you need a 2k account and sign in there linked with steam.
