Touchpad support, Mac-style (pan with 2 fingers, zoom with pinch)

So far, I find the touchpad support very basic. It does emulate mouse, but that's it.

I find Mac-style touchpad controls so much more productive: you can both zoom and pan the map!

I've googled, but didn't find a mod or anything, am I missing something?

Also, the tech tree scroll speed on touchpad is very inadequate.
