Was Sid Meyer involved?
Was Sid Meyer involved in the development of th game or is it more of a trademark nowadays?

Dude is 70, so I suspect it's basiclly a trade mark now.

Dude's had minimal involvement since the second or third game, not sure why it matters now.

My understanding per Wiki is that Sid was directly involved as designer only for the original Civilization in 1991. Even Civ 2 (1996) had a different lead designer. That said, Sid was a founder of both Microprose and then Firaxis (where he still remains afaik), so I guess the franchise to date have still been "his" games, even if only in a corporate sense.
