First Civ/Society Combo you will play?

I'm leaning towards Pedro II of Brazil with the Hermetic Order. How about yourselves?

Saddly it seems like society choice goes hand to hand with the planned victory route.
Science goes Hermetic Order, Religion goes Voidsinger, Domination goes Sanguine.
Culture also goes hermetic order I suppose for the GP regeneration. And finally if you want to focus on city states or spy abuse its the Owls.

Voidbringer with French Eleanor should be cool! Dominate the world with madness art and cultist!
Or Voidbringer with mansa Moussa, lot of faith give lot of science/culture/gold.
Hermetic order with Bruce or a civ with lot of great people generation to maximize lign ley.
Or vampire with any military civ...
Erf, I don't know what to choose first but I'm pretty excited!

What I was actually saying is that the most optimal choice is exteremely clear on every civilisation. LIke mentioned above, the best sociey for eleanor are the voidbringers by far. Korea would always choose Hermetic. Shaka/Gengis Khan and any other pure domination civ will always go for Sanguine. Pericles will always go Owls due to the States etc etc.

My point is there is no dillema in most civilisations if you want the optimal choice. Which in turn transforms the societies to a bonus on your existing strategy rather than a strategy you adapt around

There always secondary routes, Mapuche can either choose between voidbringers if they're far behind a civ or sanguine if they have a confortable route. either two make a use for his passive.

I'm dropping straight into a TSL with the new catherine and ethiopia as AI. I wanna grasp the new district aswell. After this i'll probably play the secret societies online with people as i learn.

The other one is to combo Voidsingers with Eleanor of Aquitaine. Capture everything via Loyalty flipping without ever declaring war.

Huh ? Are you certain ? They didnt mention any civ-society combo being non-possible.

I've been trying to play Elanor with the voidsingers, since they seem a natural combination, but apparently you can't play voidsingers with her.

You can you just need to find them. Its a random chance when exploring a tribal village (also note you have to scroll to see them since not all govenors and SS can be on screen at once).
