Has Anyone Found A Solution To "...cannot find path specified."?
I have Windows 10 and my launcher for Civ VI does not work anymore since the last patch back in April. [Failed to start process for Sid Meier's Civilization VI: "The system cannot find the path specified." (0x3)] I have tried almost all the recommended fixes by Steam Support, but none of them works (restart computer, clear download cache, repair library folder, verify local files, etc.). Have also read that some people have tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that won't work either. Has anyone found a solution to this problem that worked for them?

Actually, this error has occurred fairly often in the past. The issue usually involves a mod (or even the user themselves) inserting code into the launch options field for the game, and that code not being kept up with changes to the game. Erasing that code usually fixes the problem.

You can find the launch options field by opening the "Properties" for Civ VI. The Launch Options field should be right there (in the General tab, which should be the first tab that is displayed).

Thanks Copernicus. Your tip did the trick. Turns out I just needed to change the drive where I keep my games on now. Used to have the library of all my games on an external drive (E:), which recently died. Afterword I reinstalled everything on my D drive. The game launched normally like it should. Glad that it was just as simple as that. =)
