Beginner friendly civs and leader
I wonder what would be a good beginner friendly civ.
Trajan is often mention but is he?

Trajan Rome:
+ Free monument, makes civics easier
+ More gold from trade routes, also faster movement
+ You can spam Aqueducts to get that missing ammenity
+ Use legion to repair or chop more legions.
- If you miss legion timing there is little use
- Monuments are so cheap later on
- Aqueducts are less important if you are already on river

Gorgo Greece
+ That wildcard opens many gates
+ Free culture from barbarians similar to Trajan
+ You get lasting military bonus
+ Hoplite are easy to get for some early war
- Unique Therer square is hard to place (hills) and sometimes you dont need it much

Abraham Lincoln America
+ Freeeedom, with wildcard as diplomacy cards arent the best otherwise
+ Free units are good
-+ Building IZ is challenge, even begginers can do that

Paundmaker Cree
+Double purpose scout, can fight
+Free tiles, free food and gold early on
+ Good tile improvment early on and it gets better
+ Extra housing and food can grow your cities bigger, faster which makes other things easier
- No big bonuses

Ramses Egypt
+ You will build buildings anyway
+ Discount on river is possible to hit
+ sphinx is ok and so are archers
+ resistance to floods could help
- Wonder spam is not beginner, but on lower difficulty you will get some

Tokugawa Japan
+ Yields from districts and trade are easy to get
+ You can do whatever you like (any victory)

Amanitore Nubia
+ Bonuses easy to trigger
+Archers are defensive
+ Faster districts ar great help

The question is "Easy leader and civ?" not like the best one.
Is there something else easy or some of these are actually hard to trigger?

Honestly, I don't think a beginner should really be trying to concentrate on the advantages provided by a specific Civ or Leader; it is far more important to learn the basics of managing production, income, defense, expansion, and district placement first. Focusing on the peculiarities of a specific Leader's bonuses can detract from that.

If anything, I would first choose one of the Leaders with late-game bonuses, so that you can concentrate on the fundamentals in the early part of the game.
