Who are in the random pools?
In the advanced settings when selecting on leaders there are the options of "random (pool 1)" and "random (pool 2)." How can I know who are all in the first pool and who are all in the second pool?

You can in single player, too. It's in advanced options during game setup, in the right column. You can also choose which city states and natural wonders you'd like to exclude.

You choose who are in the pools. By default, all civs are available.

The main use is to put in one pool all the leaders you still haven't win with, so you can randomly choose one of them to unlock their achievement(s).

I would rather say, that the main use is to exclude all civs, which are either too OP, so that they don't exist in a randomized game or those, who the player specifically don't like. But yeah, achievements are an additional usage for those, who care about it^^

From Civilization.com:

Leader Selection Pool

The Leader Selection Pool is a new advanced option that allows players to create 2 custom pools of leaders for their single and multiplayer games. What this does is allow players to create lists of leaders that can be chosen by others, or by the AI. For instance, you might want to have one group of leaders for your friends in an online game, and then restrict the AI to a different set of leaders. This still allows for some randomness - you could create a list of leaders that you haven't seen before, a list of non-aggressive leaders for a peaceful game, or all the warmongers for a real brawl.

For some reason, and I don't know how, I never really noticed that in the right column.
