Does civ 6 work with the steam link (casting on tv)

Hello I have a for me really important question. I have searched a long time to find an answer of my question.
So my question is does civilization 6 work with the steam link and can I cast it with no problems on my TV ?
It's so important because I have no "normal" display only my TV and my PC is not so near.
My PC and my internet is very good and I think that it could only be a problem that the steam link does not support the game.
What do you think about it?

Well, I don't think anyone here as any more idea than you do. I mean, it's not beyond the realms of possibility that someone from Firaxis will show up and comment, but it's very unlikely.

What about an alternative, like using Wireless Direct (because I refuse to say WiDi) to achieve the same thing? ...which I'm assuming is just playing from the comfort of your couch.
