Linking 2K account is stupid idea

Why give away free content and then force people to link a 2K account. I have zero idea what a 2k account is and don't want one. I refuse to sign up for anyting to get content. Fire whoever came up with this idea. Its just a crab for everyone's personal information which you don't need to sell me your games.

Then don't link it. You'll still have 74 leaders available, once the pass is fully released, like you still need ~600 hours to even play with all of these at least once at an average game length of 8 hours.

And it's not even like Caesar is so essential to the game, that not heaving it makes it unplayable.

A 2K account allows your to post in the 2K forums The only info you give them is an email address, so they can spam email messages to you, but you can unsubscribe from getting them.

Paradox does the same thing to get your email address. I have an email address that I use to sigh up for stuff separate from my regular email address.

The leader is not free. The price to get the leader is to link the accounts. If you don't want to pay that price it's fine, you don't need to. But at this time there is no other way to get the leader. Your choice, simple as that.

True, this is the price of getting this leader. Still undecided whether to bother creating a 2K account just to get one leader (even if it is Julius Caesar). Anyone have any thoughts on the value of the leader? Worth the time/aggravation or no?
