Julius Caesar content

Hey, I did the stuff the news said about linking:
"Once you've linked your 2K Account, you'll need to restart Civilization VI and enable Julius Caesar. To do so, click Additional Content on the game's main menu followed by Mods, then scroll down through your list of additional content, click on "DLC: Julius Caesar," and click on the "Enable" button."
But I can't find the "DLC: Julius Caesar" in the mods section to turn on, is it missing for me cause I did something wrong or will the option be available when the guy gets released on the 21st?

Do you think the leaders matter much? I mean usually its like one or two skills but you are just stacking a thousand more as you play. I am thinking the leaders might be the weakest characters in the game.

When they announced this during the stream yesterday, they clearly stated it would be out on the 21st. The problem is the person who created the thread here on Steam wasn't clear in their title.

I'm sure what they meant was "sign up today" so that you are ready to get it for free on Monday. That was Monday didn't roll around and then people were overloading the 2K account signup page, or running into other difficulties that they could get sorted out beforehand.

It depends how it's designed tbh. Personally, I think games can be very different playing as Ghandi vs Chandragupta. And I guess a little for Rough Rider and Teddy. But the 3 Frances still have me playing mostly the same culture game.

I think Ana Nzinga will at least change the Kongo drastically with allowing holy sites. But, I do agree that Julius doesn't seem strong or fun, but I suppose depending on your opponent's skill/ai difficulty he could delay commercial districts for a while. The main issue I think is that Trajan is also an expansionist, but he can also just pump settlers if he didn't want to war.

Probably.

But you also need that 2K account linked if you want to use cloud saves (this game uses My2K for cloud saving, not Steam cloud) and also for multiplayer. But yeah, I'd guess if you don't use either, link one, get your thing added to Steam, then un-link would almost certainly work.

You need Julius Cesar as leader? In workshop it's available since 2020. Not offered by a wealthy franchise, nope, it's one modder, only. Is it copied by Civ 6 devs? But check out on your own...

Julius Caesar DLC not working?

I have being trying to access the new Julius Caesar Leader, but despite linking my account, restarting multiple times, unlinking my account, restarting, relinking my account and then restarting again, it still has yet to appear within the DLCs of my game. Does anyone know why this is happening?

It isn't being released until Monday. Same time as the first pack of the new DLC bundle.

Btw, they didn't change the date. The 21st was the announced release date on their stream. But the 2K person who posted a thread, mistakenly started a thread making it seem like you could get it right away. When in reality, I believe that thread was supposed to be stating something more akin to: "sign up today, so you are ready for the free Julius on Monday!"
