Might be added with a DLC though. Just to round everything out when they start adding in other civs for moneys
Such a tiny thing. ..but indicative. I was starting to warm up for civ6.
As I understand it, Mjölnir is actually a common symbol in norse paganism. I think archaeologists found many small pendants and amulets in that shape.
There are a lot of missing symbols, if you want to look at every religion in the world.
On the other hand, the Vegvisir or Ægishjálmr look more common, but they are more like talismans.
Maybe a simple Rune would be a better choice, similar to christian Chi Rho, which would probably be a good way to represent pre-schismatic christianism.
At any rate, yeah, mods will have pretty much every symbol ever created. This game should be more mod friendly than the last one, so one little mod shouldn't hurt your gaming experience.
Now, it looks like they haven't added it. Why haven't they added a symbol for Norway's religion? Such a simple little thing that would be so obvious to have in the game, much more so than adding a Viking civ or religion in the first place. Is it to be politically correct? It just seems so ridiculuos but I can't see any other reason. I haven't seen you giving a good reason either.
