I take it you're not British! Try telling a Scot they're English or an English they're Welsh or an Irish they're British. I think you'll find they not only care...they care a lot!
But looking into it more I think Civilization takes a relaxed view of history and that's for the best. I was just wondering whether there was likely to be different UK factions or full-blown civs in this game.
I'm actually quite interested in Civilization for the first time.
So yeah, historic accuarcy gets second rank behind fun of gameplay.
Don't know why I haven't been attracted to Civ games before. I've enjoyed Age of Empires which is more RTS and TBS.
