HD 4000 is the minimum to run DirectX 11. It's what I have on my laptop, and Civ 6 runs fine (20 fps) on minimum settings, although my 16 GB of RAM might help it along, too.

Depends on the CPU a quad core i7 at 1.8ghz should run no problem a dual core i3 at 1.8ghz won't be good enough. Whats more important is the GPU it requires a Direct x 11 GPU it won't load on anything less.

I'm getting a new laptop in about a month but I want to play now.

That gpu is about the same as a Geforce 540M it should run on it but there is sometimes performance/compatibility issue with workstation GPUs and games and only at close to the lowest settings.

Yes that system should run it quite well around medium or high settings

Works on my Surface Pro 3 ( i7 with 8GB ram, 256GB SSD and Intel HD 5000 graphics). I do notice that turn time is longer, especially mid to late game than on my desktop machine.

Mine's an E5430, so your machine probably has a bit more juice.

Hi I'm having troubles getting Civ VI to run.

I'm running Windows 7 64 bit and I have twice as much RAM as I need to run the game, all I can think is my GPU doesn't support DirectX 11?

Its a NVIDIA GeForce 9600 GT

I suppose there's no way to get DirectX 11 to run on that? Time for a new GPU then?

Im not sure if my low end laptop will run this game, but hoping it will even if its on low settings.
