The GTX 460 is a DirectX 11 part, so it should work for you.

NVIDIA NVS 4200M supports DX11 so I guess it should be able to run it. But this card is like x8 weaker than mine old GTX 560 Ti so I have no idea what can you expect from your card...

Your processor is older than the required i3 so there is a chance it will refuse to run depending on the instruction sets used in the game.

I doubt that is the case not sure since the FX series they use has a even narrower instruction set. What are you refering to SSE3 cant be it since the minimum req Phenom II has no SSE3 either.

Probably but I wouldn't take the risk it is an AMD focused game so you never know what little suprises there might be hidden to hinder Intel/Nvidia and boost AMD. Best to wait to confirm if it will run on core duo series processors before purchasing.

It might lead to different performance but not outright refuse to run. If a instruction set is lacking it would simply refuse to run.

Will Nvidia 440 work?

It has the same API support as the minimum, but is distinctly less powerful. So it shouldn't refuse to run, but may run pretty badly.

I know these system requirements are considered moderate, and conducive to broader appeal, but given that most people have laptops with integrated graphics, I just don't see a lot of non-traditional gamers jumping on this. In my opinion, all it will do is force some current Civ fans to upgrade their systems.

Am sorry but can anyone tell me if my laptop will work? hopefully I have provided enough details

WIn 8.1
CPU: Intel Core i7-3630QM @ 2.40 Ghz
GPU: Inter HD Graphics 4000, NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M
Ram: 8 gig

It runs Civ 5 just fine.

Running Civ5 is really no indication, given the much higher system requirements.

I doubt it will refuse to run, especially if you make sure it runs on the nVidia GPU, but it might be a bit marginal in terms of running well.

how do you think the game will look/run on min settings?
