could i run it:

my specs: WIN 10
video card: GeForce GT 820M
CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4510U CPU @ 2.00GHz
RAM: 8 GB
Now there is already a demo for Civ6 ... for those who are unable to decide.

Pre Civ6 je už k dispoziciì aj demo...Pre tych ktorých sa nevedia rozhodnùť.

Hey, I have a Macbook Pro Mid-2012.

These are the Specs - do you think it'll be able to run, even at minimum?
Processor 2.5 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory 4GB 1600 MHz DDR3
Intel HD Graphics 4000 1024 MB

I realize the Memory is 2GB too low from suggested, but want to see if it will work!

In answer to an earlier question I have all graphics menu items as high as they will go. NV control panel also set to Very high quality. Monitor G-Sync 1440p. GPU GTX 1080ftw OCed.
CPU i5 3560 @ 4.71 GHz OC. 16 GB DDR3 1866 memory, on large SSD.

With this setup in game, if I don't move the screen or cursor it stays at the max refresh of 144fps. Late game, moving around it fluctuates down considerably, but I've never seen it go below the 60fps mark. This is taken from fraps. My eyes also tell me it's running well as there is never stutter or slow down, it's really quite beautiful in fact.

I always tune my PC (kind of hobby) to max performance which also makes some difference.
Very important is not to have other apps or processes running in the background. The only one I leave on is Windows Defender. Task manager is almost permanently at CPU idle of 99% at the desktop with no apps or scans running. meaning desk top only uses 1% of resources. Of course any necessary or unnecessary background process will drop this, sometimes a lot. And obviouly if I do anything, or any scan it uses resources. A well tuned PC will run like this, but most people have unnecessary background processes running. Probably stuff not even aware of so it's worth checking the task manager, and then disabling anything that is not needed.

Finally, I'm not sure about the latest gen CPUs, but I hazard a guess that intergrated graphics won't be sufficient to run this game except for the very lowest settings, and probably not worth it.
Dedicated GPU, GTX 770 or better, with a well tuned, no background processes should give everyone a decent experience at DX11. Try to OC the CPU if you are into that kind of thing. Many can handle an extra 1GHz on offset voltage only slightly increased so heat isn't a problem.
But, there again, no two CPUs are exactly the same.
Is it possible to run the game ?

Windows Vista Home
AMD Phenom II x4 920 2,8 GHz
4,00 GB RAM
64 Bit
ATI Radeon HD 4800 Series

Not with Windows Vista it isn't. It requires Windows 7 or higher.
The rest seems more or less on or just above minimum.
So upgrade your Windows to an actual supported version (Win10 basically) and you can start the game and should be able to play on small to medium maps.
Yeah, Donald is totally correct about Vista.

GPU; I used to have the top of the ATI HD 4xxx (4870, vanilla.) But with a first gen i7 940 OCed to 4 GHz on the high range x58/lga 1366. - triple channel memory. With your hardware, I'd test it if that's in anyway possible, before buying. Close call.

That's early 2009 tech. My memory is in tatters, but it COULD play Crysis decently. Had 12 GB 1,333MHz 3 way DDR3 which was overkill then. But my main thought is about DX11. It was all DX 9 with that gen., plus a few of the failed DX 10s.(No need to mention open GL or the like for Civ.)

I can't for the love of God remember if I ever played DX11 with the ATI HD4870. (It burnt out over 6 years ago.)

So, best guess is yes, on small maps and no eye candy - Good luck. I hope you can try before you buy.

Finally, no hijack, it's relevant. Can the 4850 or 4870 run DX 11? What really throws me off is that DX11 took a while to reach coding efficiency - much more efficient now of course.

Oh, yeah, forgot, to play CRYSIS decently, took a lot of work pushing the GPU, when it was "acceptable," the card was at over 90c and simply fried to death.

Regardless. Good luck, and do post again if you try it on that HW.....and a modern OS.

Maybe someone could help me. Just bought the game this afternoon. I installed it and I tried to launch it, but I couldn't because of this error message:

I've got direct x 11 version and windows 8.1. Everything seems ok. Anyone could help please?

What GPU do you have?

Well, I try to do my best into giving you all the possible informations (I'm not the best into these kind of things).

Do you have a laptop or desktop, and what would your budget be if you needed some upgrades?

As for what is wrong, there are three things. First off, you only have half the RAM the game says is required (which is made worse by your second problem).
Your second problem is that you are probably using your Pentium's integrated graphics card. Not only are Intel iGPU's not a good in general, but they use your system's RAM instead of their own, adding to the problem of not having enough of it.
Finally, according to Intel's site, that CPU is a dual core and isn't hyperthreaded. Civ 6 claims to require an i3, which is a dual core, but is hyperthreaded. This means it wants you to have at least 4 cores, even if some aren't physical.

If you don't have a separate GPU, just the iGPU on that CPU, you don't have DirectX 11 support in hardware. So the game just won't work.
