Sean Bean Dies in the Launch Trailer, All is Right with the Memes

If you have not seen the launch trailer yet, go watch it. It is quite good. It hit all the right notes with a few nitpicks here and there.

Some things of Note:
1. Sean Bean's Character explicitly dies in the WW2 Spitfire thus fulfilling the meme that Sean Bean literally dies in most of his acting roles
2. The Astronaut in the last scene was female, representing the growing leadership role of Women in the modern world
3. Sean Bean's face was put on all of the leader type warriors,traders,inventors in the trailer with the exception of the Astronaut. A friendly face to greet us through each period and place. Unfortunately some groups may see this as racial white washing of those peoples and cultures. I thought it was good use of the Actor's likeness to juxtapose the role of the player in handling such events and time periods in the game.

I have never even seen one of his movies...I think Leonard Nimoy was the best narrator. Instead of Sean bean they should have got Liam Neeson but he was probably too expensive.

yep. and i'd like to think that he also was hit by a stray firework in the marco polo-ish scene,the 'airplane'(if you can call it that)he was in nosedived,dropped him into the ocean,and flew back up,and that a giant kracken-type creature's tentacle rose up from the ocean and nabb'd what im assuming is the girl's/lady's father and dragg'd him to the bottom of the ocean.

Why? Because physical comedy.

Don't forget he's Ned Stark in Game of Thrones. And sticking to what he does best, he dies in nearly every single role he plays in. Strangely enough, one of the few times he survived was in Silent Hill (He was the husband/father)...
