Does this game support controllers? I recently was injured and have to spend more time on the couch to game and I want to play this and if it had controller support that would be great for me wtih my Steam link.

Doesn't say anything about controller support in the game specs. So it looks like mouse and keyboard only as per previous Civ games.

Steam Controller should work.

Steam Controller perhaps?

I considered a Steam controller but it would be a waste of money as it would literally make no sense for any other games I play on a controller.

I want to believe the game specs but I have seen games that say they have controller support and don't hence why I ask the community.

the steam controller works with more games than any other controller so i'm not sure which games you are talking about. but yeah, if you want to use a controller with civ 6, the steam controller is the one to get.

Works and makes sense are two different things. Great example though is NBA 2k. You literally need the second analog stick for dribble moves and shooting. That is just one game series one of my favorite game series and one I am not willing to give up for a steam controller.

Why not have both?

FYI, there ARE keyboards for the lounge room. Logitech has a little KB with a touch pad, though I have no experience with it.

Or, have a look at these: http://www.pcgamer.com/the-best-lapboard/

too bulky and pricey. I did consider the roccat guy but I would hate to have spent more on a keyboard and mouse holder than my actual streaming device. They're great concepts but not there yet or maybe im picky idk
