How many hours do you have on Civ II? IV?
We don't care about your hours played epeen. There's lots of folks who have lots of hours on more than just Civ V.
Awful compared to Civ V? How? Civ V was barely playable on launch. It only got "fixed" with the DLC's. Comparing the polish of V to VI just isn't really fair. Comparing them on launch day... yeah... Civ VI is way better. Not perfect, but way better and with much more potential.
I haven't encountered this. What level are you playing on? How many games have you managed to get through alredy? It's only been out 2 days...
I'm playing the Germans on Prince, and still on my first game even though I've played for at least 15 hours. The Romans across the ocean are my biggest rival and still several tech levels behind me. Despite that, their military units are equal or beyond my. Attacking my city on his contient with corps/armies of mech infantry, AT, and Tanks.
I have seen a few 'older' units that he has, but he seems to be upgrading as he can afford it. I've seen city states with warriors in the modern age, but not sure that bothers me much.
The AI needs some work, but that doesn't surprise me. I don't think I've seen a Civ game in a long time that had a robust/good AI right out of the box. This seems fair for what we've seen in the past.
