Sound/Audio problem

While playing civ6 not a single sound is playing except civ6 itself. So I can't listen to music or use any voicechat. It's like civ is muting all other sounds.

Almost same bug here: after a battle all unit sound gone (moving sound, fighting sound). Couldnt find any solution yet. As soon as i find a solution i will post here. Would be nice having solutions by community too.

I am sure it has to do with same problematics.
Civ is muting sounds. In your case external sound. In my case one internal sound effect :P
At least let me dream we have "almost" same problem and solving one problem makes both errors vanish :D

In my case, Civ is muting all sounds after multiplayer game. Even music in menu.

I have a different kind of sound issue. All battle sound effects have suddenly become very quiet, almost muted. All the other sounds and effects have normal volume. Restarting the game won't help. All volume settings at max. I've had this problem for two days now.

I am having the exact same issue....3 months after you posted this... what concerns me is that every single post reguarding this game dates to october.... did this game just die? does no one play it anymore?

I'm having this exact problem, just started an hour ago , driving me crazy. Switched different audio outputs, headphones, speakers, hdmi, usb, restarted game, restarted computer, it's the weirdest freaking bug, I'm about to do a fresh install because I need to hear my guys filling baddies with arrows damnit!

The game is unplayable, only way i enjoyed this game was while listening to my own music. Now i rather the music and turn the game off!! Even with all Audio in game at zero, the music playing from iTunes or YouTube, crackles, skips or just stops until i exit the game.
