You can make your own leader, it's called mods. Ingame will just never happen, it's not how Civ works since the leaders aren't random characters, they are historical so a tool to let you make your own leader go against the very nature of what CIv is about. That's why it's something left for mods, which isn't officially part of the game.
You can also name units but only after you rank a few levels with that unit (I think it's 2 levels). It even have a tool to generate random names, similar to how Xcom generate mission names. As for city names, they couldn't do it before release for some reason but the producer said it's something they are working on.
As for auto switch, also something they didn't put for some reason but will be added in the future. For now, you can do it manually. go to Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI, open UserOptions, look for this:
;Does the selection auto cycle to the next available unit? (0 = no, 1 = yes)
AutoUnitCycle 1
change the number in the second line to 0 (AutoUnitCycle 0).
there, auto cycle is gone.
and like i should have to mod the game to get what was already in the game or slightly better.
So you support unpaid work?
He did not said that. He simply compared apples with apples
unpaid work? wtf?
that is such a loaded thing to say
I guess you don't understand that developers pay employees to make content, and the main aim is for those who purchase the game to pay for that cost.
Well, maybe you should remember that creating content is work, work takes time and people to get done, people want wages for their time. You want extra content? You'll have to help Firaxis pay their devs.
You didn't even buy the game, what are you complaining about?
Time and resources are limited, there's only so much they can deliver in a specific time with a specific budget. Expecting them to deliver the same content it took years for them to develop is unrealistic, at best. We already got almost everything Civ V complete have mechanic wise, which is a lot, plus a lot of new stuff.
If we had got something like 12 leaders I would complain, 20 is just right for vanilla.
Yea, I really liked the 24 leaders they gave us for free after Civ 5 came out...oh wait
