Swordsman not healing
Are swordsman supposed to heal normally like the regular warrior? I've had a swordsman fortified to heal for several turns and health is still the same.

Where is the units located? Your territory or city? Neutral ground or enemy comtrolled tiles?

I tried in several places. Neutral ground. My territory. In a city. Wouldn't heal in any of those. Bug maybe?

If they have been set to fortify until healed in your city and they are not healing I say it is a bug of some kind. I would post about itto the 2K forums and maybe give them a save game that has the bug.
Do you have iron available? My swordsman stopped healing when I ran out of iron resources.

Id say its a bug. Its an obvious question but your hitting the heart icon or the shield? One is fortify and the other is fortify and heal. Pillaging also heals infantry

If you happen to be playing the tutorial, a lot of commands are disabled and Fortify until healed is buggy

Well, it works for all new swordsman I've created now. Just killed that one off. No issues since.

So swordsman started healing correctly. Now same thing is happening with some musket men. Just some units refuse to heal.

They require niter. You need at least two unless you have the building which reduces their build time. If you upgraded them from another unit and dont have niter then they wont heal... i think.

So to be clear. To heal units that require resources to produce, you must have that resource available?

I would say this is the case, I took a swordsman from barbarians with a general and he won't heal and I don't have any iron, which, on a side note seems to be really rare on the maps I've played so far..

In a game happens to me for a swordsman and after for a cavalry, in other games not

The answer is yes, if that can help anyone. I had the same problem with my swordmans not healing. I made a deal with someone who had a source of Iron and they started healing again.
