Can't Select Great Person - Game stuck!

I earned my first great person but when I click the button, nothing happens... can't end turn either.... totally stuck! HELP!

Hi. I have the same problem. I passed on my first Great Person, but when I did that and got out of the Great Person screen, I couldn't end the turn. The game keeps asking me to select a Great Person ...

This is my second play through and once I earn my first great person I can't continue.... crazy... please let me know if you find a solution.

You are aware the GP screen has a scrollbar on the bottom and several options off screen you have to scroll to see? Lot of people missing that.

I am having the same problem, when i click to claim my great person nothing happens, nothing at all. Same thing when i click on the icon to open the great person panel. nothing.

I am not having trouble selecting a great person. I know there is a scrollbar.

I am using some mods, OP what mods are you using?

I was using no mods, problem was solved by updating my graphics card drivers.

why is this issue still a problem? It still is happening to me and there is no reason that I can figure out. When I earn my first great person the selection box doesn't open. I have tried every way to open it or even just skip the turn to try and play it without great people. this happens in most games and I have to abandon it and try again. does anyone have a solution?
