Spoken Language Sound Problem
Hello, The normal sound works fun. But when it comes to spoken sound, it doesn't work. There is no sound. Can someone help me with this?

I am having this exact same issue. The only suggestion I received from 2k support was to change my audio output to 48khz, which it already was. Would appreciate any help on this.

Someone in another thread said to make sure it was 16-bit @ 48K and not 24-bit... not sure if that's your issue but thought it was worth mentioning.

Appreciate the reply, but just to stave off any further responses along that line, I've tried it with every possible combination of bits and hertz. The issue is not an overall sound problem - it's *only* an issue with the spoken words (narration, leaders, advisors). Everything else sounds perfect.

I guess we need to wait for the offical patch to fix this

I'm noticing possibly the same issue after switching from using the headphone output on my monitor, to the headphone output on the back of my tower. Everything works fine apart from the voice lines which are INCREDIBLY quiet compared to everything else. When checking the voice line audio levels in the Civ6 settings, it is at max, and when adjusting the slider I can hear the voice lines at normal volume.

Just managed to somewhat fix the issue by opening up Asus Sonic Studio II and adjusting the EQ and sound effects there. Doesn't sound perfect though.

The way I fixed it was to go into my Windows System Tray, double-click "Realtek HD Audio Manager," and make sure all of the settings were set to stereo, and front left and right configurations. Somehow this problem only manifested itself in Civ, and everything sounded fine once I did this.
