Windows 7 Civilization VI

Does Windows 7 launch the game for you? I've been looking at numerous reports that it is not working for Windows 7 currently. The issue seems to be that the game will say it's "launching" then never actually launch the game. Tried reinstalling, getting Visual C++ 2012/2013/2015/etc., DirectX11/12, updating driver, and restarting the computer.

So my question, who here HAS Windows 7 and it is working for them?

yes, win7 x64, works fine.

Phenom 2 x6 1055T, 8GB RAM, HD 5870 1GB.

So frustrated by this. I too am running Windows 7. Can't get it working. My comp is very fast and well above specs needed for Civ 6.

You have to be on SP1

Service Pack 1, is what SP1 means. He's got SP1 however.
