No Riflemen or Long-swordsmen.
Game seems to be missing a lot of units from Civ 5. No Riflemen, Long-Swordsmen, WWI units, Composite Bowmen, etc.. I hope we will be getting them back in DLC or expansion.

Well that does seem to be the norm. Release half the game broken, then release the other half as an expansion about a year later. So probably.

To be fair, nearly all of those units were DLC in Civ 5.

Really? You clearly haven't read the comments being posted.

Yes, and let's forget about all the new units like Ranger(combat scout), Support class units(first time ever), new Archer class unit between Crossbowmen and Machine gun, separation between light cav and heavy cav etc etc.

its also missing paratroopers. Seriously how did they add no paratroopers when those have been part of vanilla game of prior civs

I do like the new ranger unit, though I think an explorer would have been a more appropriate upgrade.

The complete unit list was available prior to release. Not sure why the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ starts now - and if you're just finding out, that's on you.

I actually quite enjoy the game, though I do lament the loss of the rifleman, and long-swordsman.

Eh..where exactly was this? Do you mean the wiki's that listed the units, because those were not complete or official. Many of them were missing a lot of information.

Well one quick easy answer is the various youtubers who got early access and showed the entire civics and tech trees (these were complete despite being prerelease builds). I could list a few forums and websites that also posted the information but I shouldn't have to, really. There was so much info on this game before release day that just a minimal, bare bones amount of "homework" would allow anyone make an informed purchase.
No, I'm not giving an opinion on certain things being in, or left out, of the game. I'm just saying it isn't fair to buy the game, then learn what it has and doesn't have, and then list those things as a grievance. People are expected to know what they're buying, ahead of purchase, within reason. The list of units, I think, easily falls within reason here.

Game is VERY broken, for me at least. Its crashed no less than 40-50 times on me. Then I encountered the Windows defender bug, then I declared war... on myself..

Just crashed 3 more times. ( I think because an open boarders pact that ran out is keeping an ememys civs in my boarders and they can't get out)

It's a fun game, but its very broken.

We only know they are compelete in retrospect.

Good for you.

And I did. I have enjoyed the game the amount I have played so far. I do however still lament the loss of the Rifleman and Long-swordsman, along with the WWI units.

Sure it is. I'm not saying the game is crap, or unplayable, only that I miss the rifleman and long-swordsman. What's not fair about that? Am I not allowed to miss units? You are making this way too personal guy.
