In a game like civ, yeah really. 1.) From a total beginners perspective it's just stupid.
2.) I certainly have other things to do than sitting 2-3 hours straight to finish a tutorial without saving.

I agree, this is very annoying. If the tutorial only would last 20-30 minutes, saves wouldn't be necessary. But a tutorial from that lengh like here without save ... thats a no-go.

Agreed, and super annoying (not to mention unbelieveable). How can any developer not think to have a save when the 'tutorial' goes on for hours?
Little things like this are enough to lead me to a refund, let alone question how stupid or narrow-minded the developers are.
Patch in a tutorial save feature asap, devs. Or hopefully a modder way smarter than you will.. idiots.

Tfw you need to update something on your PC asap, but CivVI tutorial is in the bakcground and you don't want to lose your 2-hour progress so you are FORCED to finish it since there's no save option.
Come on devs, you can do better than this ;-;
