Tutorial Bug - Library

I was happily playing the tutorial and had got up to having built the campus. I then didn't realise I needed to built the library next, so I built one or two other things. I then clicked on build library and on the next turn a popup said I needed to build it. However, because it was already being built in the city, it disappeared from the list of things I could build. So the tutorial is pointing at the place on the UI that it thinks I need to click on to advance...Except its not there. I had to back out of the tutorial.

Reporting a similar problem, I had built the campus but it didn't contribute to the goal, after a few turns I was granted a Great Person and it introduced me to those systems. Before I could continue however, I was informed I had to build a library (that was already built) but could not activate the button as the great person window was still there. Ended up not being able to close any window and had to back out of the tutorial as well.

Hi NB-Mbaya, Glad it wasn't just me screwing up and its a repeatable bug.

Do you know, I thought I'd try and run through the tutorial again for a second time, it did not go well.

Bug number 2: Near the end of the tutorial, I was threatened by the other civilisation's leader, but at the same time, popups happened on the leader screen wanting me to click on something. Which obviously I couldn't. So I was stuck on the leader screen not being able to do or click on anything.

I don't think I'll be going for a third run until it's patched. I'll just get into the main game,

But just as a warning to everyone, the tutorial is a bit wonky at the moment. It's a shame because there's alot of good informative stuff in it.

Thanks for the update, I was considering attempting a second run through of the tutorial this morning as well but aye, guess I'll wait for a patch and just experiment in a new game.

I also confirm the game freezes when the arrow appears to claim the great person.

Yeah, same problem here. Arrow stuck on Ancient Walls because I had already built the library..

More than a year later, I had the same Library bug... I don't think it's going to be patched.

Just had this problem as well, I did the mistake of building the library before tutorial prompted me to build it on the campus district, and I got stuck there. I guess I should forget about the tutorial.

Can confirm, just got the same bug. How is this still in the game? Unable to complete tutorial due to this.
