To be fair, less than 5% of Steam users have a display resolution higher than 1080, and only about 2% above 2560 x 1440. It's not high on their list of concerns.
This has to be an oversight. Nearly everything about the UI was *perfect* in Civ 5, size included. How could they not see a problem with this?
It should be. 21:9 monitor sales have been through the roof for the past couple of months and the people that buy them are the ones with enough disposible income to be ideal targets for future DLC.
The game is unplayable with such a small UI as it stands, currently. This should be their number one priority, regardless of what someone thinks the stats indicate.
