Hello, I've installed win 11 yesterday and today installed civ 6, new pc, and keeps crashing after some time, it's from windows or the game itself, something that can be done to fix the issue?

Its 50/50 most likely. Windows 10/11 are famous crap so... The game has its problems but me playing on windows 7 rarely have them. You need to give more nfo about the problem, btw.

The thing is that I don't have any other issue, it's just stops working, and I need to force close it, nothing else, the drivers for my gpu are-up to-date. The game has been fresh installed. That's the reason why I'm asking if there's any solution, because I saw problems like this online.

Same issue, FPS decreases gradually, and eventually the game crashes. I'm using latest gen hadware.

The only thing that's working for me, since the game broke, is running 0 city states. I've played two games to end game since disabling them. With them on, it's crash-crash-crash. Look in the constant crashing threads, other players are finding the same thing.

Windows 11. Current drivers on everything. Game crashes to desktop very frequently. Annoying as hell.

If it helps, it doesn't work in Win 10 any more either.

Try uninstalling the Rise and Fall DLC. The vanilla game runs fine for me, but if I install R&F it crashes every few turns. I'm running Windows 11 on two PCs, one is brand new, same thing on both machines.

I will try to uninstall it, and clean every file manually, i hope it changes something

I deleted the game and then gradually installed all the DLC that I've bought since the game was released. The game was rock solid until I installed R&F and then it started crashing again. In the process I discovered that you can manage what DLC is installed through the steam app so now I manage that way. I haven't reinstalled Gathering Storm so do not know if that affects game stability.

Same here, crashing after about ten to fifteen minutes. Move from windows 10 to 1`1 a few days ago. Went from i5600 to a Ryzen 7600X, new MB (from 2015 to 2023) Prime B650 Plus, 32GB DDR 5 Ram, 1TB M.2 - crashing frequently. Ran Windows Memory Diagnostic and basic results are OK, but the "normal" run will crash on the 2nd pass. So, I might have new but bad memory, or, its a mix of both. First thread in google bring up this search result, btw, so good jarb.

Did you overclock? Also try switching between DirectX 12 and Vulcan to see how it goes..
