and, aside, if you're playing without mods, if you're not save-scumming, you're going to lose some deity games. it's just a lot of math to overcome.
P.S. It wil be really hard to avoid early wars on deity so you gotta adapt and save-scumming wont help, btw, the window is just too small and the production/gold arent nearly enough to be flexible with different choices.
I believe that makes them act more defensive and not necessarily try to continue their offense, but to move their troops back to defend own territory.
At least some civs do that I have noticed.
But yeah if i meet another civ in the first 20 turns, we going to war.
Kill any AI close to you, no matter who it is. If you are playing with Loyalty, destroy the city.
