Losing a wonder. How is that possible?
On turn 337, i lost Petra. I do not know if this is a bug or a new feature in gathering storm. I reloaded a previous save and it disappeared again on turn 337. Has this happened to anyone else?

And you confirmed an AI player didn't beat you to finishing Petra?

Only way I've lost a completed Wonder is to sea level rise. Don't know if it's possible to lose one next to a volcano or not, never put one there.

One of the governors has a promotion called reinforced materials. That protects from volcano damage. So you could, but it would lock in your governor (if volcanos destroy wonders, which I don't see why they wouldn't).

It is turn 337, i did not lose a race for Petra. I have had petra for over 100 turns by that point.

Petra was nowhere near a volcano. However, the sea level did rise. But petra is far inland so i do not think it should affect it.

Can rivers flooding destroy wonders?

I don't know. I got my floodplain under control really early, and nothing I built near it later took any damage. The only 1000 year flood I had was in the Ancient Era before I built anything there.

Just for clarity, you HAD Petra built (it was not under construction), the city didn't flip, there was no enemy units there, and it is built on a flood plain, that is not under threat of flooding, nor is it in damage range of a volcano?

Yes, Petra was built and it was not on a flood plain or close to a volcano.

That does look really wonky. No enemy units, no volcano, doesn't look like a flood plain, can't see any storms. I would contact 2K support and file it as a bug report, and attach the two save files as evidence.

Might be a bug. Friend playing Maori lost their bonus for woodlands while still having the building.
